I just finished watching the world cup. It was an exciting game, emotional rollercoaster. And especially had my boyfriend beside me jinxing every time Argentina scoreed, it was an exciting and unforgettable game to watch. I am so happy for Messi and the team, and I really think he deserves one.

I always believed in the team and Messi. I used to watch soccer more. But I was very much involved in the "game of real estate" since 2016.

Now that interest rate has been rising for a while, I have more time to think about what I want to do, and make my business better. One thing I know for sure is that I need to nourish my mind. So I started going back to the library. I started reading. Oh man, how I've missed reading on paper. I get excited about going inside a library and borrow books on subjects that I am interested about.

I stumbled upon this book called "Show Your Work" by Austin Kleon. It is such an easy read, entertaining and straight to the point. It ignited the fire inside me from long time ago, I decided that I am coming back to blogging. I went back to my own website I created 7 years ago and read the things I wrote back then. I was quite impressed by the things I thought about at that time. It's almost like, I came this far thanks to that person 7 years ago. Now that my career is facing some challenges, it's like a full circle where I get to sit down and start writing my thoughts again. Hopefully that'll sparkle some new ideas. How interesting life is! I am just going to let my ideas run wild here.

Ok, back to topic.

I am extremely happy for Messi, I have been cheering for him since the beginning of the tournament. If you open my YouTube now, you will see Messi all over my page. I've been watching a lot of videos on him, and how unreal him and his goals are.

Now that he has achieved almost everything in football humanly possible, I think the debate over "Who is the GOAT" between him and Cristiano can be put to rest. This is the perfect result for him and career.

A couple of things that I learned when watching this year's tournament:

  1. You can NOT do it alone, doesn't matter how good you are. Teamwork is very VERY important.

  2. Take care of your body and health. You need that to have a long and successful career, or life.

  3. Grit and persistence. Look at Messi, he kept on trying for the world cup 4 times, and he finally got it. Very admirable.

  4. Family is everything. One thing that stood out to me was Messi is such a family guy. Family is the greatest support system you can have. If you see your family as priority and everything you do gravitates towards that, you should succeed in one way or another.

It was a great ending for the world cup. Congratulations to Messi and his team again. To me, this piece symbolizes a restart of my blogging and showing my work.
