"The Ride of a Lifetime" - 4.5/5

Well written by Robert Iger, the CEO of Disney. It feels like Robert is talking to you, and you feel this genuine and straightforward character.

The intimate details about him and Steve Jobs' friendship, and how he managed to acquire Pixar was a great story. His relationship with his wife Willow is also admirable.

Here are a few takeaways that resonated with me:

  1. Showing respect goes a long way. Sometimes people just want to feel respected, and that'll make the deal making so much easier.

  2. The "long shot" might not be that long. Dare to dream and act on it.

  3. Try to surround yourself with people who are good people on top of being good at what they do.

  4. Innovate or die - have the courage to change.
